Closed dome over a baseball game late in the season.  Indoor baseball – it just isn't right.  Summer really is over.

labour day: baseball, harbour cruise

It's Labour Day – the last luscious Monday off in the summer.  We spend it doing more Toronto stuff.  First we hook up with my girls and take in a ball game.  The Jays lose, but it's still a good game.  Then we take a harbour cruise in the tall ship Kajama.  The day is sunny and breezy and perfect.  I can't imagine we could have spent it better.

remember baseball season?

Tonight we had dinner with my girls and they were talking about baseball season; about getting their mini-season tickets in the mail soon.

We walked by the Rogers Centre on the way home and again I thought about baseball season, and summer in general.  Then I pulled my coat's collar closer and walked on.
