How does it feel to start moving outdoors again?  It's like your feet get itching after a few hours at work.  You start to get claustrophobic.  You notice people graviating toward doors and windows.  You sneer at the angry drivers honking insults at one another.  No wonder they're angry, they're stuck inside their cars.

You step out in the morning and your mood lifts.  By the time you get to work you're already thinking about lunch hour – and not the lunch part.

Beautiful thing (#18) noted every lunch hour walk this week:  shadows.

Oh yes Muse, we’ve had some wonderful early warm days, gives as a “preview”! None of us here expects we’ve seen the end of cold weather yet!

We’ve just got to get out into those open spaces. It’s our little bit of green in an urban environment. Soothes the soul.

It sure does – the older I get the more I need it. I almost get panicky if I don’t get outdoors every day in summer.

Yes! Yes! This past week was the first time I was able to take a walk at lunch. Of course I didn’t see sights are pretty as your shadows, but I did enjoy the fresh air!

It makes the day so much better doesn’t it? Oh – and the sights are not as good as all that, mostly office buildings and apartment buildings in my work “hood.” But some trees that make for great shadows in that intense sun we had! Thanks for visiting!
