no really, what if?

‎What if our religion was each other
If our practice was our life
If prayer our words
What if the temple was the Earth
If forests were our church
If holy water – the rivers, lakes and ocean
What if meditation was our relationships
If the teacher was life
If wisdom was self-knowledge
If love was the centre of our being
~Ganga White

That, my friends, is the most beautiful thing I read all day, and thing number 26 of 101.

Are you finding it?

I have often thought that the forests are our churches and I like the idea that our rivers, lakes and sea are our holy water and love at the centre of our being.
My small thing, my joy …listening to my granddaughter when she is sleeping, little sighs and snuffles.

I agree with Kelly that this deserves to be printed out and read each and every day … thanks for sharing.

I agree – I have never felt closer to the divine than when I was in a forest. Love the thought of your little granddaughter’s sleeping sounds!

Me too Susan – sometimes it takes simple words/ideas like this to put the big old world into perspective, no?
