Actually the Harbourfront Centre is not that lonely. Lonelier than summer, yes, but there is a busy skating rink back there by the lake, and the Centre has arts programs running all the time. But I do get as much pleasure walking down there in the quiet, cold winter (okay, it's not that cold this winter) as I do in the bustling, touristy summer.
