A lot of people criticise the obligatory art that comes with every new condo.  I like these pieces a lot though; how they evoke both rail and water travel.  Tribute to the rail corridor just north and the harbour just south.  I always admire how that one there flirts with the western sky.

    I think it’s important to have something to brighten up these buildings that all look the same. If you’re not going to plant trees, art is the next best thing. I really like those pieces too. I like the solidity of them as well as the form.

    They are gorgeous! I love the shapes both the shapes of the actual structures and the spaces inbetween. Stunning capture!

    Agree. And yes, that solidity jives well with the shipping and rail history of that neighbourhood.

    Love those spaces too – looking at spaces is ONE thing I retained from my short-lived design school experience.
